Visas
The Lebanese Consulate General in Dubai provides the following Visa services.
Applicants must submit all required documents, along with any additional documentation that the Consulate may request for review. Please note that visa approval is subject to the discretion of the Head of Mission or his delegate.
To apply for a tourist visa to Lebanon through the Consulate General of Lebanon in Dubai, applicants must submit the following documents:
Required documents
- Application form. (completed online and printed, or filled manually at the consulate)
- 1 recent passport-size photograph.
- Passport valid for at least six months, with one photocopy.

Copy of UAE residence visa, valid for at least six months. (or Emirate ID)

No Objection Letter (NOC) from the sponsor in the UAE, specifying the intended duration of stay in Lebanon.

Copy of the commercial license, if the applicant is an investor or a partner in a business.

Confirmed hotel reservation or invitation letter from a host in Lebanon, including a copy of the host’s passport, full residential address, and contact number.
- Roundtrip, non-refundable flight ticket.
- Bank statements for the last three months.
To apply for a business visa:
Required documents
- Application form. (completed online and printed, or filled manually at the consulate)
- 1
recent passport-size photograph.
- Passport valid for at least six months, with 1 photocopy.

Copy of UAE residence visa, valid for at least six months. (or Emirate ID)

Invitation letter from the host company in Lebanon, clearly stating the purpose of the visit.
- No Objection Letter (NOC) from the applicant’s sponsor in the UAE, specifying the intended duration of stay in Lebanon, the purpose of the visit, and the applicant’s monthly salary.
To apply for a visa for household helpers through the Consulate General of Lebanon in Dubai, the following documents are required:
Required documents
- Application form.(completed online and printed, or filled manually at the consulate)
- 1 recent passport-size photograph.
- Passport valid for at least six months, with 1 copy.

Copy of the UAE residence visa, valid for at least six months. ( or Emirate ID)
- Copy of the sponsor’s passport (if the sponsor is a family member).

No Objection Letter (NOC) from the sponsor in the UAE—whether an Emirati citizen or a company—specifying the name of the person who will accompany the visa applicant, along with a copy of the companion’s passport.
Note
If the sponsor is Lebanese and holds UAE residency on their Lebanese passport, or if the sponsor is a GCC national, the household helper may obtain a visa upon arrival at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport, provided that the helper is accompanied by the sponsor.

1- Visa Issued by the Consulate
For visa applications that do not require prior approval from the Lebanese General Security, the file is reviewed and processed by the Consulate within four (4) working days.
2- Visa Requiring Prior Approval from the General Security in Lebanon
Applicants holding any of the following documents must obtain prior approval from the Lebanese General Security before a visa can be issued:
- Palestinian Authority passport
- Egyptian or Syrian travel document
- Jordanian passport without a national number
Applications must be submitted through the Consulate. The approval process typically requires six (6) to eight (8) weeks.

1. Visa Exemption:
Nationals of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries—Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, State of Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar, and Kingdom of Bahrain—as well as nationals of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan who hold a national number on their passports, are exempt from obtaining a visa to enter Lebanon.
This exemption also applies to their accompanying family members, household helpers and drivers.
Note: Household helpers and drivers must hold a valid UAE residence permit to benefit from this exemption.
2. Visas Granted Upon Arrival:
Tourist visas may be granted upon arrival at Rafik Hariri International Airport and designated border entry points for a period of one month, renewable up to three months, for nationals of the following countries:
Tunisia, Algeria, Comoros, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, Yemen, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Ghana.
Conditions for Entry:
- A valid round-trip ticket.
- A confirmed hotel reservation or a clear and complete private address in Lebanon, including a contact telephone number.
- The traveler must carry USD 2,000 in cash upon entry.
